Account Preferences

Account Name#

You have one account to do it all. In this one account you can add an unlimited amount of members and apps in the preferences menu.

General#

Account Details

Under ‘General’, provide your account name, and your company details: name, address, phone, tax ID, and accountant or billing contact e-mail. Be sure to fill out the accurate information as it will be used in your invoice. Your company location is important as it may impact applicable tax rates.

Usage#

This section displays a summary of all of the apps in your account.

A horizontal red line indicates your account limit.

How to view account limit?

Hover over the graph with your mouse to view the log retention for each of the apps in your account, relative to your account limit. Each app will be marked with a different color.

If you’ve reached your account limit, logs past the max will not be saved. Select the link below the graph to upgrade your plan and continue logging.

Plan#

Here, the details of your account plan are displayed.

Selecting the Change icon will allow you to view all of the plans offered, and upgrade whenever you need to.

How to change the account plan?

The option to change your account plan will, of course, be open to admins only.

Billing#

Each account (and all apps under the account) can be paid with one credit card.

We use Bluesnap as our payment processing provider. Credit card information is sent to them directly. Only the last 4 digits of your payment information will be shared with Shipbook.

A list of your billing history. Here you can also download a copy of the invoice.

Members#

How to add new members?

Shipbook offers you the freedom to add an unlimited amount of members to your account. Invite new members to your account by providing the name and e-mail of each member.

Member Status

Owner: All billing, configuration, removal of members and applications, and receipt of invoice e-mails.

Admin: All billing and configurations, removal of developer and admin members, and removal of applications.

Developer: View all parameters, configure app settings, and add new applications.

Shipbook has made a list of free public API's (application programming interfaces) that are open for use with Shipbook software for programming and development.

In the text bar give your API key a name, and then select 'add'. A message window with the API token will open. Note that this token will be provided only once so be sure to save it. You can copy the token with ctrl C or by selecting the copy icon. When you're ready, click OK to close the window.

DYSM Keys for iOS#

DSYM key

The dSYM file is the human-readable stack traces of the crash.

In the text bar give your DSYM key a name, and then select 'add'. A message window with the DSYM token will open. Note that this token will be provided only once so be sure to save it. You can copy the token with ctrl C or by selecting the copy icon. When you're ready, click OK to close the window.

Slack Integration#

Shipbook integrates seamlessly with your dev kit.

Select the 'Add to Slack' button. This will open Slack's authentication integration wizard which will enable you to fully configure automatic alerts with Slack.

The integration will be listed so as to enable you to delete integration, or select the arrow on the far right to choose between recieving all apps, or for specific apps.
