Introduction to Shipbook
Welcome to Shipbook!
Our mission is to develop the best solution for analyzing mobile application logs.
Shipbook gives you the power to view and search logs according to log severity, OS version, app version, device type, and/or language among many other parameters.
And this is just the beginning. Shipbook also gives you some powerful and handy tools for practical analysis of your app stability.
Our patent pending technology classifies and categorizes all error logs. This will give you a clear picture of what errors are affecting most users. If any anomalies are detected we will also send you an alert so you are in the know before anyone else.
At Shipbook we know that knowledge is power. That is why we’ve made it our priority to provide you with all the tools you need to find and fix your app before users even notice a problem.
Why are logs important?
Logs are critical when you want to solve bugs and errors in your app. They enable you to understand what led to the appearance of a bug or a crash. Shipbook gives you remote access to logs from your users’ devices.
By storing logs according to session, and user, coupled with powerful search engine tools and analytics, our software is both easy to use and also a powerful tool that will speed up your error handling, and bring awareness to problems as they appear, so you can often fix issues before your users even notice.
Importance of logging according to session and user
Logs should be saved according to sessions and devices. It doesn’t help that all the messages are on a server if you can’t see the complete flow of the session of the specific user encountering the problem.
With logs are saved per session and per device, Shipbook gives you a unique look at the entire flow of the user session, from the moment they open the app, and up until the moment they encounter the issue. This way, you have access to the entire event trail of every user that encounters a specific problem, and can easily identify the commonalities and isolate the cause of the issue.
Already have an in-house solution?
As we haven’t seen your in-house solution, the following statement could be inaccurate, but our guess is that Shipbook offers more functionality with a more user friendly GUI. In addition, Shipbook offers innovative patent pending features that just don’t exist yet in the market.
We invite you to keep your current solution and try ours in comparison.
Our program might turn out to be better than, or a good addition to, the ones you have already.
We believe in Shipbook wholeheartedly and so we’ve made registration completely free (no payment method required!) explore our software no strings attached:
How does Shipbook improve developer workflow?
What problems does Shipbook solve?
We've all been in the situation where you code and test - and on your handsets everything works smoothly. Your users however, are experiencing problems and complain that the app doesn’t work on their devices.
Why wait for your users to report bugs in the app?
With Shipbook you can often identify problems before your users even notice them.
And while we are on the subject of the advantages, here are just a few more:
-
Advanced search engine - why look through millions of logs when you can let the search engine find exactly what you are looking for?
-
Even when your user is offline, Shipbook will not lose the logs. They are uploaded as soon as the user gets online again and you will have access to them when you need them.
-
Shipbook displays logs per session. You will be able to see all of your users' actions in order, from the moment they opened your app until the minute they closed it.
-
Open Source SDK - Our code is open source so we don't keep everything secret.
-
Patent (US11449488B2) categorization and alert system, so you can find and fix app issues as they occur, even before your users encounter them.
